Big Bill of Taos
There once was a man of towering size
With a five pound beard strokin’ to philosophize
The broadest of shoulders stretching past state lines
Tossing kegs like he’s swatting flies
He could pinch your head off if he felt so inclined
But peace was his creed and calm was his mind
Wearing shorts year round no matter the cold
The breasts on his calf were bountiful and bold
Big Bill of Taos
The biggest brother to us all
Big Bill of Taos
With a sunset for a soul
Guiding rafts down the Rio Grande
Grilling the meanest reuben in the land
With the strength of ten men he carried the world on his shoulder
And with his other arm he moved the Bear Rock boulder
The true love of his life always came first
The hairiest kitty in the universe
Big Bill of Taos
The biggest brother to us all
Big Bill of Taos
With a sunset for a soul
